Hives in my 10 year old

MY 10 year old starting getting hives after we moved to Florida 6 years ago. They first started in the fall Sept./OCT, went to the doctor and couldnt find anything wrong, so she started on a over the counter meds claritin. They finally went away in the spring. Then they returned 3 years later in the fall again and we went through the same pattern, meds and gone in the soring. now this year 3 years later sane again hives in the fall. the only other thing they seem to come after a very rainy season. Has anybody had anything like this happen?? any ideas??
