Does anyone out there know much about hocd. I think I might have it but don't know what to do. I am addicted to porn and masturbate a lot. I am straight and always have been. I think the hocd started when I was accused of maybe being gay by a girlfriend that I loved. I need help and need to be cured. This is ruining my life. Please help ASAP. I'm feeling a bit suicidal. I have a young son that I love and want to share my life with.

    hi john your a young male your not doing anything wrong ! i could be youve got a high sex drive and thats why you feel the need to masturbate ! the first thing.you need.is to see your doctor and tell him how your feeling and take it from there ! in the meantime try phoning samaritans regarding your suicidal thought ! take care david

    I think many men (and probably many women as well) question their sexual identity from time to time.

    From your description of your symptoms, it looks to me as if you have doubts about your sexual abilities rather than your sexuality.  My suggestion is that you be open and unashamed about them with your doctor and get him/her refer you for conselling.  If you feel you are not being taken seriously, change your doctor.

      Thanks Dave. I have already been to a counsellor and have determined that I am ok, so to speak

      But, its tough! Those hocd thoughts can be so intrusive and repetitive
