Holep recovery after Cambridge

Posted , 1 user is following.

69 years old i had the HoLep operation with Mr Aho last October now over 7 months ago. My prostate was over 135g. Apparently when operated on my prostate was in fact considerably larger. Recovery has been a struggle. Even at 7 months i am still dribbling as i am partly incontinent. Urination and flow is fantastic. It is just for some reason i am still experiencing stress incontinence and random leaking. Also I have severe bends in my penis that are only visible when i have an erection. Weird but with an erection my penis bends up and to the left as though it is twisted. On a positive note, this does not really influence my sexual life, although the dribble prior to erection does! Also even though i believe i have had complete enucleation unbelievably i can still ejaculate sperm although it us reduced volume! I am still awaiting the out patient follow up appointment that should have been six weeks after the operation.

Even though I still have minor incontinence problems and a severely bent penis, its better that the suffering i was in for years prior to the operation
