holidays and swollen feet

i went to spain last august.. it was swelteringly hot 😰 my ankles and feet swelled so much i couldn't even wear my loose fitting holiday shoes so i bought an extra large fitting pair of flip flops to cope... intending to book to see my gp on my return .. however i couldn't see any gp for 3 weeks and by then all was back to normal so i cancelled my apt. i also wanted to wee... but couldn't so i'm assuming it was just the heat?... i am on a water tablet anyway... was just wondering if i increased my water tablet whilst im on holiday if that would have helped ?? 🤔

If it was me I would still have made an appointment to see my GP and ask the question, always best to be on the safe side.

Mostly in hot weather its quite common for feet/ankles to swell but as your on water tablets for a reason ie BP or kidneys you need to make sure it's not a problem.

That's good and thankfully now your home it's gone down so it shows it is probably just heat related and want be a problem when it's cool.

Hope all goes well and you can enjoy your holiday next time.

Come back and let me know how you get on
