Has anyone found any home remedies or over the counter medications that's can be applied topically to an outbreak? I have a new outbreak that in an area that when I urinate it feels like I'm urinating on an open wound very painful it only lasts s few seconds but if I could avoid that feeling it would be great.

Have heard that Hydrogen Peroxide swabbed over the sores help. Next crop i'm going to try it
Try taking the following oils intermittently mixed in the recommended amount of water: Licorice, Garlic, Cayenne, and Oil of Oregano. These have helped me tremendously!

I've heard raw Manuka honey helps, but I can only find one study on the internet and everyone seems to be quoting that one. I don't know if it works, but I figured it's worth a try. You're supposed to apply it directly to the outbreak area four times a day.
