Hi hippies

just back from my 6 week check where I got the okay to drive, swim, cast aside the socks, bend , get on a plane and pretty much do what I think t can do safely. First thing I did was jump in the car and it was like riding a bike 😊

I'm still taking another 6 weeks off work to make sure I continue my recovery but I'm feeling really good about the future.

The only downside is I have to go through it all again next year for my other hip but already I'm not worried about it

good times 😀

Go girl! Well done . I find bending a bit hard . Got mine next week and hoping to drive . Plus putting an ordinary sick in my bad foot . A word of warning tho .. I went for a 30 minute walk today and it was a bit dark and freezing cold . Although I had a friend with me I felt really ill when I got in ... So cold a steaming hot bath was needed . Could not get warm and ached all over . So I don't think the cold and new hips go hand in hand ! I have another 6 weeks off too . Hope driving us like riding a bike too as long as my battery is not flat ! Well done x
