Hello

I will start from the very start .. It all started on the 6th feb with what i thought was kidney pain.. a sharp stabbing pain on my right side it only lasted a few second and then was just a dull ache in that side.. This was also along with a shape pain down the front of my leg.. I have been in the hospital a few times.. I am not in alot of pain buts it consant and them moderate stabs.. Whilst this was happening i was on my period which are also very all over the place.. As my period went on the pain moved to my groin and and belly area with a pain in my belly button.. I have been off my period for now for 2 days and i now have the lower back pain and upper back pain along with a full feeling in my belly and consitaption.. I am not bloated however.. i am very very worried about this and have had no one tell me anything of what it could be i just have to wait for my scan letter.. I am worried its something very serious that i am being left with with out anyone actually taking the time to talk to me.. I have had blood tests at the hospital they all came back fine although i am not sure what they tested.. Looking to chat with someone about what this could be.. I had a scan in 2010 were they said i have cyst but nothing was done about this and if i had anymore problems to let the dr's no.. I am now worried i have had syptoms but have just been not paying enough attention sad

Hey Jade, I have suffored with pcos with multiple cysts on my ovaries the way your feeling about being scared is very normal as it sounds like you've been sort of left in the dark here...

Best way to go i'd say is go see a gynea or get a gp referal to one and try and get your scan pushed forward due to constant pain no harm in trying! I'm in the same postion as i've been told another 3 months to wait for a scan but contemplating go private....

Also has anyone discused possible endometrious with you? how regular and long are your preiods?

Hope you feel better soon... x

      Hi Jessica

My periods have been crazy my whole life i think.. but when you asked about it when you need to know i am not sure as never paid attention.. My last period was on the 10th and ended on the 17th.. the one before that was simalar which was odd for me but i thought maybe my body was adjusting to a normal cycle.. I am getting groin and kidney pain on both sides which is worring me alot but the last 3 days i have pressue in my lower abdmo and consiptation sad

okay, well first i'd try and see gynea first and see if they can get something moving, because you need to know... I'd just try not to worry for awhile i know it seems hard but try it...

Also try and use some buscopan i find it sometimes help plus heat aplication such as a water bottel just for a bit of relief what did your gp say to you?

I  have seen gyna in the A&E.. she did a internal and said my cervix looked fine and also my smear test came fine.. I am guessing she cannot see my ovaries from there and this is what i a most worried about  [sad]

The problem with seeing a gynea in a&e is they're rushed plus like you said they cant actually see inside, but its a good sign your cervix and smear came back ok.... but, you need the same gynea so they can look after start to finish!

I know such a nightmare.. I am awating a call from my Drs this afternoon but not sure to say as i am sure they will just tell me to wait for the scan however the last time i spoke to them i did not have consisptation or a full feeling in belly.. I also have aspergus sydrome mild form of autism so am not great at getting my point across

Hopefully your GP has referred you for an ultrasound scan.  That would show up the cyst and then you can discuss that with a gynaecologist.  Perhaps you could get a friend, relative  or advocate to come with you and support you to get your point across.  You could take dulcolax for the constipation and make sure you drink plenty of water.  I don't think hiccups would be related to a cyst, one remedy for hiccups I've used is to drink 7 sips of water in quick succession whilst holding your nose.  A nurse told me that one, it doesn't always work but more often than not it does work.

Another thing you could try Jade is to write down a list of all your symptoms.  Then put them in order of importance to you, with the most important one at the top.

    Hope this helps.confused
