for context i noticed this about 2/3 months ago, it appears to on the left side of glans. i have attached a photo as well it is quite hard to see though. i seem to have a cluster of small pin size dots under the skin that are a reddish colour. i am hoping someone can help me understand what it is. these may have been here for longer than 2/3 months but that is only when i noticed them. the photo of these bumps is no. 2 there is not feeling to them and they appear to be under the skin

could you also tell me if my meatus is ok being this colour too?

The dots are naturally present Robbie, what varies is the amount that they are clearly noticeable.

    Meatus looks fine too ....

That is correct. You can minimise the amount that you notice them by not applying soap or any form of body wash to it such as shower gel to clean it.

Wash with water only and make sure that is is moisture free as often as you can - at the end of a shower after you have washed and rinsed elsewhere on your body, expose the head of your penis and simply use the warm (never hot) running water, the inside of your hand and your fingertips to clean your penis with.

If you happen to apply any form of skin cream, or things like baby oil, or even many Lubes for masturbation or sex these too can be a mild irritant - it is best to avoid these too, better to use a very fine coating of Liquid Coconut Oil .....
