I have fibromyalgia also but mine causes pain all over when its flared up.. Don't affect my hair growth on my legs or armpits.. I suffer with IBS to so its an awful cycle to deal with.. My anxiety brings on the gut pain and aches all over.

When I first got ill with ME my hair was falling out, and I lost hair on my legs, well all over my body. My finger nails were very weak. Found out I had mercury poisoning from my fillings. I had them taken out and replaced with white ones. My hair gradually grew back and my nails are very strong now.

Might not be the same case with you but I thought I'd say it in case it rings a bell with anyone. If it does and you want your fillings removed you should go to a mercury free dentist.

Any kind of changes in Hair growth r related to harmones. U better consult any endocrinologist who may recommend you to have a mri of ur brain or any other blood test based on ur history past medical records.

Actually harmones are made by our pituitary gland which is at the base of our brain. Harmonal problem is mainly due to problems in pituitary gland.

So u better consult gp or endocrinologist.

    All the best.

Yes you will have to force gp to take u seriously. Ive gone through all finally daignosed with 2 microadenomas in my pit gland after mri.

May be same not happen with u but prevention is better than cure.

      Take care
