Hornet sting complications ?? lyme

Hello.

Ive had a hornet sting a while ago. The sting was badly infected for several weeks.

When I first went to see a doctor, he told me that hornet stings are very rare, and he doesn't know much about possible complications.

I had a huge red area around it, with a clear edge, that got bigger and went up my leg a bit.

That seemed to concern him, because he told me that he once read about a case where lyme disease was transferred from a hornet. He said it was highly unlikely but i should keep an eye on it.

I have seen five doctors in total, none of them treated a hornet sting before. All of them seemed concerned but no one knew what to do.

After two antibiotics the stings slowly starts to heal, leaving a weird looking scar.

About a week after the sting i started to feel off. I had a fever, body aches, dizziness, headaches and extreme chills or sweat . Those symptoms have lasted for weeks now.

I have a constant fever, around 102 °F. Sometimes up to 106 °F, which made me to pass out twice already.

I am chronically feeling sick, but i dont have other cold symptoms.

I tried everything, got an antibiotic for the fever but nothing is working.

So now my question:

Does anyone heard of diseases from hornet stings?

Has someone ever heard of a possible lyme disease from a hornet sting? I can barely find information online, but the symptoms are exactly the same.

The doctors wont test me, because i didnt have a tick.

This is the fifth week feeling like this, and i start to get concerned..

any help or opinions would be highly appreciated.
