Horrible head sensations

Ive posted a few times on here and have gotten some good feedback but today my head swaying and hurting is horrible and the pain is in different part of my head. I've spent most of day crying can't take much more, can't figure out why Dr's can't figure this out and fix it. I had a person tell me she thinks it's anxiety but no dr has said that, and that my mind us what's me believe and feel sick even those this didn't start out this way. it supposedly started as bppv and turned in to all this.

Hi,
Symptoms I experience when not happy are head pressure, brain fog, swaying off balance feeling, adrenaline rushes through the head. Have been to see Nuero and had MRI scan as I thought there must be something physically wrong. At it's worst I have suffered vertigo / had problems placing my feet and been sick - was surprised (and relieved) that the MRI came back all clear. Diagnosed with anxiety and prescribed Sertraline, a lot of problems in my case I believe is caused by tension in the muscle in the neck which causes the head symptoms.
Suggest requesting to see a Neuro / have the head scan to rule out any physical problems.

OK - I assume your MRI came back clear which pretty much rules out anything physical. Do you suffer tension type headaches ? Anxiety / stress is a big cause of this...

yes Mri were good other then what they call cerebellar tonsillar ectopia but neurosurgeon doesnt think that is causing my symptoms, sometimes i get headaches but the main symptoms i have are the dizziness and swaying head never feels clear, this all scares me everyday its been going on for a year now but only relief is when im sleeping ive quit my job and wont drive, i just cant help but believe theres something medical that there missing for as bad as I feel, I spend alot of my days crying.

As I type this whilst at work (office environment) am feeling pretty odd. The head pressure has been building since about 11am and brain fog has moved in, it will feel like this until a couple of hours of being home again as I start to relax.
It's hard to believe there is nothing wrong with these symptoms, but if you did have something medically wrong - the scan and Dr would of found it.

so now alot of my dizziness has changed to pressure on top of my head, then very dizzy today. I'm beginning to think all this is more then anxiety like I've said not diagnosed with anxiety but Dr's not sure what causing it all started a year ago with what they said was Bppv and has changed symptoms few times since then. Don't know what to do anymore

Hi Annett have you found out what's been causing your head sensations? I have been experiencing the the exact same symptoms going on five years now. i was also told its anxiety and was recently prescribed some Lexapro which seemed to help. i stopped taking it cause i was breaking out in hives. i was not sure if it was the lexapro so im in the process of doing process of elimination to find the hives culprit then if its not the lexapro i will resume taking it again. I did notice a difference after 3-4 weeks on the Lexapro. Hope this was of some help.

ty for responding no i still haven't found out cause, and never been told by any dr that it could be anxiety they keep sending me to different speclists and test. i take duloxetine and clonazepam but none helps for the symptoms its all day long and the pressure and lightheaded is always worse in morning. mine been going on over a year I can't imagine 5 years, do you have the symptoms all day long or do they go away.
