Horrible health anxiety after hookup

Hey all.

Last Saturday, I was out of town and met a really cute guy while we were out and about. We talked all night and the next day we decided to hangout before I went home that afternoon. We made out and then I gave him oral and we had sex with a condom. After, we were talking and he said that he went to jail for a few months. I immediately started mentally kicking myself and started spiraling. I immediately thought about HIV mainly and every other STD I could have gotten from this pointless interaction. I wondered why I didn't just ask his status.

Fast forward to a few days ago, I began showing symptoms of a yeast infection. I don't have any sores or anything just itchy and irritated. I thought Herpes, Chlamydia, HIV again... I'm so scared and so nervous. I'm scheduling a full panel testing next week, just hoping to ease my mind or see if somebody can relate.

    sorry this is happened to you. Just go and get the blood work done for your peace of mind. I would definitely recommend not getting involved in that way with strangers because you don’t really know them.

    It’s also a safety issue.

    we only have one body for life and we need to take care of it. and we only have one life so we should definitely protect it. Be Choosey Who you spend your time with!
