Horrible Menopause Symptoms

Posted , 5 users are following.

Started with heavy menstrual periods and lasting all month long.

I went to see a OBGYN specialist, had a pelvic ultrasound, uterine biopsy and everything was normal.

Had a complete hormone blood work panel test and it all came back abnormal.

I'm getting severe hot flashes day and night, anxiety and panic attacks, chronic insomnia, headaches, constant acid reflux, blood pressure going up, can't concentrate, unbalanced, night sweats, exhaustion, fatigue, very emotional, crying spells, irritable, so moody, feel constantly stressed, cravings junk food and sweets, body aches, doom feeling.

Tried so many natural remedies and nothing is helping, and unfortunately I can't take prescription hormones because I had an endometrium ablation and the doctor said it will cause me to bleed again.

I'm hoping it will get better, eventually. 😣

You might want to try using cod liver oil, it helps with mood swings, alertness, and overall health. I know that I feel noticeably better when I take.

Research it for yourself.  I was put on to oestrogen (oestradiol) after a hysterectomy, oopherectomy and removal of endometriosis right up to diaphragm.  No problems with oestrogen whatsoever.

Another dr added some provera when she heard that I had had endo to stop the endo from being reactivated by the oestrogen.  No problems with that either.

    Too many myths about hrt.

I will definitely check into that. I'm just wanting some relief and nothing I have tried so far has helped. Thanks for the info.

I had an ablation and I take hormones.  Thank god for them because I was just like you and it has helped along with anti-depressants.  My bleeding has stopped, I only have spotting.  Get another doctor and stop suffering.  HRT and anti-depressants take some time to work, it doesn't happen overnight.  You have to keep taking them.

Yes I will check into that. It's been 3 years since I had the ablation and immediately my periods stopped completely. Haven't had a period since. Thanks for the info!

It is amazing how ignorant some drs are, isn't it?  Mostly it is their personal bias, if not laziness in keeping up with medical knowledge regarding hrt.  Menopause problems are not a rare event!

Hi Jackie, sorry just 'jumping' in with a question, I've just stared Livial(HRT) will this swimmy woozy head feeling go away & when will these tablets take full effect? I do notice a difference already but it's the head thing 😥 hoping the anxiety & the low blood sugar feeling will go too.

      Thnx, keep well.

As I understand 12 weeks and if you still don't feel right then you increase the dosage.  Keep on keeping on.  Keep trying to you feel good again.

Hi, how are you? I know exactly how you're feeling, I've had many of your symptoms...been a very long 2yrs but I've now decided to take Livial(Tibolone) I didn't want anything to do with HRT but I just couldn't cope any more. Have just started them & can notice a difference, hoping when they take full effect the swimmy head feeling & anxiety will go away. Do hope you find some medication/supplements that will help, it's so awful & scary.

Sending hugs xo do take care
