I have had a horrible smell in one side of my nose, it is not a smell that others can smell so my wife tells me.
Bad headache caused by the smell, but no other real symptoms.
I have had this for 2 weeks now and it is really getting me down, GP does not seem concerned suggests a catarrh spray, but that does not help a bit.
Anyone else suffer from this and what helped please!!

The symptoms you describe sound a lot like sinusitis.
If it is acute sinusitis, no treatment is required other than headache medication, nasal decongestants, and nasal lavage serum. Chronic sinusitis, on the other hand, may require antibiotics.
If symptoms persist, return to your doctor.
