Horrible sound and sensation if I touch all around and under my ear

So I have had a clogged ear for 4 weeks. I am on prednisone and Avamys nasal spray plus I take claratyne! My ear has had slight improvement but nothing great. My biggest complaint at the moment is if I touch around the outside of my ear and underneath my ear lobe it sounds so strange. Best way i can think to describe it is as though I am tapping on a microphone. Does anyone else have this symptom?
