Hospital didn't heed warning not to use left arm

went in for hysterectomy...prepped for surgery...wristband on LEFT Arm do not use due to breast cancer of LEFT breast...when I came out of surgery the wristband was gone...I had an I V in that arm and a BP cuff on that arm. no one seem to know anything about it. as soon as I was discharged my left breast is filling wit fluid. should I be concerned? (I asked the surgeon about, she knew nothing).

    I suggest you check this out with , firstly, your own GP. If your GP is concerned then they can make a complaint to the hospital and also instigate some treatment for your arm. If it was assessed that you needed a warning wrist band on, it should not have been removed by anyone but yourself when you were home after being discharged. I'm assuming you also had an identity wristband ?
