Hospital Stay Over ....🤔

Hiya All, 😁

Going in this Friday 5th October for my THR, just thought I'd ask for any hints & tips on my stay in hospital. Haven't been in for a Stay over for years, one question is are you allowed to recharge your phone/tablet etc 🤔 a friend told me that they don't allow this, but I'm no so sure. Is there anywhere to keep things safe, ie security 😁

Silly one, but how much clothing should I take in with me. Any other tips etc most appreciated....

Stay Safe and Stay Happy..😆

Pete...😎

I am 8 weeks post op and took my 'phone into the hospital. I was only in for 2 nights so didn't have to charge it but I don't think it would have been a problem. I put my own nightie on the second night and dressed in my own clothes the next day which turned out to be the day I went home. They do get rid of you quickly if all is well. If you are female, make sure you take a skirt and not trousers. It's much easier to put on as it can go over your head. Getting trousers on is very difficult without help for about the first 4 weeks. I am delighted with the result of my operation. I had no post op pain, could walk without sticks at just over 2 weeks, take quite a long walk after 3 weeks and drive after 5-6 weeks. I hope everything goes as well for you. Good luck.
