Sometimes it can be none, sometimes it can be a few in the evening or late at night and sometimes it seems to be all day.  It just depends on my hormone levels at the times as they go up and down like a yo-yo and it is this that causes the hot flushes.  You can reduce your hot flushes a little by taking Evening Primrose Oil capsules.

    Hope this helps.

The ones that I have had usually happen in the am or sometimes during the night however my poor sister goes through them a lot I guess she will have days where she is just in and out of them...she is 52yrs old I am 49 so not sure if that is where I am headed...eeks..hope not! Unfortunately, it seems to be different for many..some women don't have them at all and sail right through menopause like nothing ever happened...let me ask my sister on hers and get back to you!

I had 8 in an hour and a half one morning on my drive to work ( air con in the car is wonderfull!!!!) and occasionally it can be very bad at night with one every hour or so. Sage tablets are also very good for calming them down, or Menopace tablets, or Black Cohosh. I do about 3 months at a time on each as the efficacy seems to wear off after a while.
