Hot flashes

do any of you during times of anxiety attacks get horrible hot flashes....is this normal? I feel like I'm gonna combust lol

    yes hot flashes are very common with anxiety. They are caused by the adrenaline that’s released during anxiety. just practice some relaxation techniques such as the long slow deep breathing to settle things down. Relax your mind as much as possible. Doing this lets your brain know that everything is OK . anxiety basically tells your brain that you are not OK so the brain prepares to protect you and that is when the heart may race to pump extra blood through the body. that’s when you may feel the hot flash. None of this is harmful it’s just uncomfortable. The more you relax the less this will happen. Take care
