hot flushes

A bit of advice pls been on increased sertraline from 100 to 150mgs 6wks now is it normal to every now and then to come over so hot in my legs and arms and my bk then will pass then come bk thanku x

    hello, i was doing much better on 75mg,upped from 50mg, but the doc wanted me on 100mg, been on the upped dose for 1 week and i have hot flushes, feeling down and a little nausea,and on edge, but only in the morning, at night im a different person, i do take my tablet at 8am.your most likly experinacing side effects, it can take 8 weeks and upwards for some to see the side effects to subside.take care

      Thanku Wayne I take mine at 8am too but like u I'm a lot more calm in evening it's strange

      yep it does my head in lol, at night i feel like dancing and i hunger for snacks, next morning i feel rubbish, 1 min hot flushes then feeling cold like a shiver and that upsets me sometimes to tears and then im usualy ok, i feel i have gone back 6 weeks, but it will end.i was doing pretty good on 75mg, but on the positive side it's working.

      Ohhhh bless u love I'm exactly the same feel crap through the day when at work lol then come the evening I can eat for England and have a laugh with my daughter then go to bed don't sleep great then up bang it's bk so frustrating x
