Hot flushes and nausea on dropping to 5mg

Having dropped slowly to 5mg a number of months ago, after a week I had to climb up to 8.5 to control bad flare in both hands. Within a month I was back to 5.5mg and fine. After sitting there all over the summer I tried 5mg again 9 days ago and felt fine. But after 5 days I had a terrible flush with sweating and so dizzy I nearly fainted in church. Today I have had another turn which came on suddenly, just the flush and sweating and bit nauseous. I am very busy so nervous if this should happen when out alone or driving.

Has anyone else had this at 5mg? Will have to go back to 5.5 I feel. So annoying after 3.75 years of pmr. Might go for ECG as can't think why the faintness comes on. Annoyed member🙄🤔

I was on 5.5 for months before trying to get to 5. If it means feeling OK at 5.5 and rotten at 5 there is only one answer really.

I was on 5mg, I went back up to six, and I have been going through a 'Nausea' stage now for a couple of months. I didn't relate it to the PMR/Pred. I am really miffed, thinking I have now developed some other nuisance problem. I have been going through a severe bout of head sweats again for a few months, like I had back in the begining of PMR.

Is there a way on here now to research past posts discussing nausea at low levels ? That should be simple enough for those tech wizards to do.
