Hot sweats

not sure if its my age or the medication but i keep getting hot sweats at least 2 or 3 times during the day and all through the night, i am also extremely tired all the time i have been on the medication for 1 week ?

    I'm getting exactly the same thing at the moment especially at night. I asked my IBD nurse the other day, she said it's a side effect of my steroids, are you on prednisolone at the moment?

      not on steroids at the moment still geting used to the medication i am on metzo something in the day and an enema at night.

    Hi Sian, I also had night sweats whilst flaring,no steroids. Tiredness also part of this disease when in a flare. (I too thought it might be an age thing!) I personally found it took meds about a month to make me feel better,you will improve as time goes on. Take care and be kind to yourself x

      thank you Jill, its good to know its not just me, only been diagnosed and on meds for a week. x
