Hot weather and humidity affecting replacement?

This is the first heatwave this year but my operated leg is painful in the front thigh muscle on walking

Is this to be expected? 11 months post-op and I was doing quite well before this heat

I'm 10 months out with my left hip and I have pain in my front thigh muscles when I walk. Our weather is hot and humid and the pain is not related to this as I've been dealing with it for a while. And my right hip, done in April, is not painful at all. I'll be having a nerve test and a bone scan to see what is going on.

I'm a year post op my left hip and 10 months post op my right hip. I had more aches in the cold rainy weather. I live in the States in Hampton Virginia. It's always warm very hot in the spring and summer. Just continue your exercises given to you by the physical therapist and be patient with your recovery. Blessings! Teresa

I’m almost 9 months post op and haven’t noticed any problems from the heatwave. My other hip is sore in damp weather but my new one is tickety boo thankfully. I do get a little bit stiff if I don’t do my Pilates and aqua classes but aqua is perfect in this weather.

    All the best
