[i:3ea3d67fe0]I wrote a VERY long \"Experience\" and when I finished, it ALL disappeared under my very nose.....feeling a bit let down.....and very tired.....so, I will try again tomorrow....I was so happy, because today is the 6th day on my 6mg dose, and no PAIN ! ? Will see what tomorrow will bring. Anyone for more little poems to read ? No extra charge......and I think you will probably survive the experience......If you are all up in arms against it, I promise I will not submit you to the pain of it !......Love to you all, Granny Moss.[/i:3ea3d67fe0]

    Dear Granny Moss

As to how you are doing, well I'm in awe of just how well you are doing....on all fronts! Just hope I am doing half as well as you when I am 87! As for the poems, I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say I'd love to read some more!

Here's one which I hope will make you smile: smile

Did you hear about the elderly lady in a restaurant who suddenly realized she desperately needed to pass gas. The music was really, [u:e7fac0b420]really[/u:e7fac0b420] loud, so she timed her gas with the beat of the music. After a couple of songs, she started to feel better, finished her coffee, and noticed that everybody was starting at her.........then she suddenly remembered that she was listening to her iPod!

Mrs O....I love it  ....imagine the embarrassment!!!

To Granny Moss...keep the poetry coming, and I know how frustrating it can be when you have spent an age typing a message and then it just vanishes before you get to send it...has happened to me a few times  .

We finally had a bit of a thaw today with temperatures up to the dizzy heights of 6 degrees, so for the first time in two weeks have been able to have a decent walk without risking life & limb smile Have a lovely & pain free weekend everyone.

    Love, pauline

[i:f4249f6420] :?: Hello Mrs O and Dublin Ireland, I think I have lost my way....I found that I have been given space under the Heading * How am I doing....* My best pages are under * Polymyalgia hit me out of nowhere.....I have lost myself...and I am very sad, because I do not want to lose my dear friends. I am under *Polymyalgia hit me out of nowhere...Please o please come and see me there ! I will be waiting for Eileen, and all the other lovely ladies ! Hope, soon. Granny Moss. PS. The story about tha lady in the restaurant is very funny. Thank you for cheering me up. This is a story I have heard. Mrs Brown tummy was getting a bit larger. She went to her doctor, and he said : It is wind.....

After about a year, she was walking down the high street, pushing a pram. She met her doctor. He raised his hat, and put his head down to look under the pram's hood and said : What have we got there, Mrs Brown ? A fart with a bonnet on, she said....Oh, I do hope this is not too rude for the Forum ? Granny Moss[/i:f4249f6420]

[i:702dee8b81]MrsG. How lucky you are to live in a village ! I love the country so much. I lived in a cottage when I was younger, and where my children were born. In the middle of nowhere...Lots of trees, and birds singing their little hearts...I thought I had died and gone to Heaven....Then, my husband that was travelling 2 hours a day to go to London for work, had a breakdown, and we came to Norfolk. Now, I have settled in this victorian end of terrace a 15 min. walking distance to the City. It is convenient, and at our age, a sensible solution. But I do miss living surrounded by trees and the song of the birds !. Our Street is lined with cherry trees, and the birds love it in the spring. Also, we have some lilacs that blossom. So in the spring it is a tonic to enjoy. From my window in this room where I paint etc. I can see the Cathedral amongst the trees. And plenty of sky.So it is not too bad.Maybe because we are a bit on a hill. The two large windows are, one due east, for the morning sun ?...and one due south, for the other sun  ....As soon as I feel better, I like to continue sewing the loose covers for the old settee....before the stuffing comes out all over......Am I just whistful thinking ?......Must go now....a husband to feed...that cannot even boil an egg......Hope to read you soon...Granny Moss.[/i:702dee8b81]
