How can I reduce snoring?

I am a 24 year old girl. I am looking for a serious answer how can i reduce snoring?

    There are a number of factors involved in snoring, but the first and most obvious solution is : DO NOT SLEEP ON YOUR BACK! When you sleep on your back, your soft palate and uvula, and also your tongue, can collapse down into your throat and obstruct your breathing.

    If you find it hard to sleep on your side, use two pillows to prop yourself into position. It can also be helpful to bunch the back of your pyjamas or t-shirt into a knot, using a rubber band, or even tape a tennis ball to them, so that the discomfort will prevent you from turning you onto  your back in your sleep. It will feel weird at first but it should only take two or three weeks for you to get used to it,

    Gosh, I would have thought that the best way to avoid snoring was to BE a 24 year old girl. Have you consulted your GP? I don't want to be alarmist but like Zavier, I wonder if your snoring is a symptom of something else

    see an ent specialist, or lose weight if you need to and go to a sleep clinic to get checkd out for sleep apnoea.
