How can I stop hair loss?

Hai friends, Nowadays, my long and straight hair seems to be tangled and rough. At first, I believed that it was because of hormonal changes and imbalances. So I consulted a doctor. I had undergone many tests and finally, the doctor told me that the cause of hair loss is hard water.

I had read that water is said to be hard when it has a high amount of minerals. Minerals can be either calcium or magnesium. Even though hard water may not taste or smell odd, it can ruin several households. It can make our hair tangled and rough. It damages our clothes and dishes too. So I am searching for some remedies to make the water soft.

I have heard of water softening system ( http://www.imagineplumbing.ca/plumbing/water-softeners/ ) in Calgary. Is there any other technique to soften water? How expensive is water softening system?What are the best treatments for hair loss? Can anybody help me?
