My uncle has a very weird problem. He is facing numbness in his hands and feet since 1 and half months and it's getting worse day by day. Now he even can't walk. He has to try a lot just to take a few footsteps. He even can't hold anything properly. Hands are shivering.  Feets are also swollen. It looks like he has lost much sensations in feet. Some doctors are saying that there is nothing to worry about and it's just due to weakness. But no medicine is being effective. And some say to have a CT scan. One doctor told us to meet a neurologist. We don't know what to do ? Plz can anyone tell me what actually it is and what should me and my family do?

    Hi Hun ,

So basically was he diagnosed with any sickness? Know one basically goes numb and barley can’t walk for know reason . Are these doctors crazy ? This is very concerning to me .Why would he be week was he sick with any thing ? How old is he? Can he still feel is it just numbness does it come and go? Or does it stay like that ? Do you find it getting worse . There’s obviously bad serculation but why ? These have to do for a reason . How long do you have to wait for a cat scan and also ask for an mri , ecg asp . If it’s that bad your concerned which I would be to take him into emergency hospital demand to tell them it’s getting worse cause waiting to long could get worse . Why is he getting medication for what do you know? Be leave me many of us on here have had issues like me I had Gillian Barrie syndrome went dr went hospital 10 days in a row emergency went 2 times a day kept telling me it’s in my head I was walking but kept getting worse that I was so sick till last 10 th day ambulance came I dropped in front of them telling them they kept throwing me out saying I had axiety depression so on but I was on floor was not even moving paralyzed was out yeppp because of the same doctor telling me basically it’s all in my head I was on life support paralyzed . Was in that hospital hated it there icu were fantastic but when left icu the nurses so on were really mean . After that 5 months there I went to the Ottawa general for on going treatment rehab centre 6 months so 1 year in hospital I was still paralyzed when I left but gaining little more had Psw for year and half I am walking again going gym on my own now but can’t still do any thing fast or walk long distance . I hope I go further all in time I pray .and had to have plasma white Amun basically what happened got flue shot and had urine track infection due to flue shot I ended up got Gillian Barrie syndrome my whole life disappeared . The doctor chef of staff dr came to apologize stupid doctor but he should of known with all symptoms. That’s why telling you go take him in to emergency maybe they can do cat scan ecg, mri . Cause the only way they found out was from spinal tap. Maybe if all getting worse better to take him in emergency see if you can get answers hun .

Sincerely hope he you find out answers good luck hun!!

Thanks for the answer @caroline70988. We are taking him to the emergency hospital today. And we found that his heels are swollen in circular shape. There have been like half-ball kind of swelling in the bottom of the legs.So due to that some times he falls down when tries to walk.

And there is not any issue with spine. But feets are feeling no sensation. So we are trying to go through the deep of the problem.
