Hi I think I got my first boil when I was about 14 then I had nothing for years I would get a boil occasionally on my thigh right near my groin but it wasn't a big issue and didn't really think anything of it. then started getting recurring abscesses by my bum when I was in my early twenties I then had a biggish op to stop them coming back since that I started getting abscesses in my armpits which always flare up never go away and get them on my thighs near groin very regular to I'm not sure if this helps but I'm happy to try and help with any questions you may have x

I think i had a few boils on my butt at around 12 maybe but what i noticed first was blackheads on my inner thighs when i was around 13. it stayed like this with just a few boils on my butt mostly i think , until my mid to late teens and then i started to get boils in my groin area or ingrown hair on my pubis a lot A lot of infected ingrown hair over there. I passed 13 years without knowing what i had so it gradually spread to my armpits in my early 20s , during the summer months only. i would say that beside the few boils i had on my behind the real sign of something going wrong with me that see looking back is all those clogged pores , whitehead or blackheads i had even thou i suffered from an eating disorder and was underweight. I was confinced that it was a sign i was overweight but in fact my thighs never rubbed together or anything. I also remember when i started to grow hair i was full of little pimples caused by ingrown hair , they were not boils back then i dont what it they were. It evolved in a multitude of boils everytime i let the hair grow back after waxing and its been this way since im 16 .
