The day before yesterday when I would pee, I will feel a burning or sometime itching sensation... and it's been continuing up until now. My question is asking how do you get rid of genital herpes for good, so it won't come back??

U can't get rid of it for good u can only suppress it. It's a viral infection there's no cure.

You can't ever get rid of the virus from your body. The only way to minimise outbreaks is to be healthy and take daily suppressive meds, but even that is not 100%. Breakthrough shedding and potentially outbreaks can occur. If you have gHSV1, it's not worth taking the meds daily.

Unfortunately, there is no cure at the moment for herpes. The only best treatment for now to calm down your blisters and your symptoms are the antiviral medications provided by your doctor. There are many things you can do to help keep an outbreak at bay and away.. change your diet, keep calm. Life is stressful enough and when we remind ourselves that we have this - it can get difficult to NOT be stressed. I put myself down so much and I was just diagnosed with HSV 1 in the genital area. It is a skin condition. It isn't a life threesning disease. No need to worry.

I take Valtrex now during an outbreak and my doctor also prescribed me cream to put on the effected area. I don't have sex or any sexual contact with partners until I know my outbreak is over. When it is officially over, I use condoms to decrease the transmission rate... take my Valtrex (any herpes medication prescribed by doctor will be helpful) and also remind my partner of my herpes history so we are safe.
