How do I heal herpes sores, help!?

Posted , 5 users are following.

So i have recently seen to a doctor about a possible herpes outbreak and am just waiting on results for that but she is very confident that it is one!

I have a bunch of pus sores, they look like mouth ulcers. It has only been a few days since I realized i have the ulcers but i am finding the pain unbearable! One of my ulcers is right on my clitoris and pus is constantly coming of it.. It feels as if i will never heal these sores.. Does anyone have any remedies to help heal the sores, I'm on medication for it but would like other opinions on what to do about healing the sores and for pain.

Thank you!!

i found that diaper rash cream really helps me .. if i catch the bumps before they turn to open sores like when they first start itching ive found that applying destin diaper rash cream seems to make it go away never turns into a sore or if i have one it provides so much relief

-Dab the area down with salt water a few times a day and let it air dry ( don't rub as they can get worse).

-Use a little que tip with Tea tree oil and a bit of coconut oil on the sores, it helps to dry them up!

    • if it hurts to pee use some warm water to pour over yourself as you try to go or I found Vaseline helpful! The best thing is a numbing cream like lignocaine.
    • try take some lysine supplements. Or even a diet high in lysine! Avoid coffee, nuts, pasta and bread and sugary things! Let yourself sleep when you have to as it helps with healing!

Also taking zinc and vit c will help with the healing 😃

I'm currently going through exactly what you're going through. I've found nappy rash cream, salt water baths & emla cream really helpful. Hope you feel better soon

Salt baths as often as you can, let yourself air dry and try to be naked as much as you can. Air helps to dry the sores.

Keep on top of pain killers as well as the antiviral meds. The clinic gave me some lidocaine gel when I had my first outbreak, I guess it numbed the pain slightly but not that much to be honest.

I hope it starts to clear for you soon, it's such a horrendous pain
