How do i manage my fissure

So back in January when I started chemo no one told me that it could cause severe constipation. I didnt have a BM for a week and when I did, Boy was it so hard I strained so much until I was physically exhausted and gasping for breath. The worst part is I didnt even manage to push it out the poop was just there so I had to manually remove with gloves.

After this I told my doctors and they prescribed me some laxatives but every time I got a BM it hurt as the poop was going out and there was a little bit of blood on the tissue paper when I wiped. So I looked it up and it looked like it was a fissure I was dealing with.

Fast forward to 2 weeks ago I decided to take some steps to heal my fissure because I was tired of the pain and the anxiety making me too scared to go to poop. So I started taking magnesium citrate 100mg every 2 days(to avoid dependance) and i never wipe with tissue paper I just go directly to shower and was my bottom with soap. So now everytime I poop the pain is not as bad as before it's like there is no pain but like a small stinging feeling as the poop is coming out It feels like it's like it's itchy down there as its coming out . So is it like tearing again or is it something else?. Also during the day my anus sometimes itches. This could be caused by nothing or when I clench my butt or accidentally spread my cheeks.

So my question is how do to get it to heal and stop the itching. What creams can I use that isn't prescription(US)?
