ive tested positive for first time in all my tests just wanted to share my symptoms and what led me to testing. any advice is welcome

-burning skin on legs

  • tingling in toes and scrotum
  • i feel disconnected from my lower body
  • its hard to keep my back straight -lower back pain
  • muscle spasms all over body
  • groin lymph node was slightly swollen but the skin in my groin blistered like a fungal infection now smells like yeast
  • cloudy urine no pain
  • frequent urination , i literally p**s every 10 minutes and its the same amount everytime
  • i cant stay awake longer than 2 hours at a time
  • i feel internally hot like i sweat all through out the day even when its cold around me, i wake up sweating from my sleep
  • my energy just seems very low

i've always been a energetic /athletic person so im wondering how can i lessen these symptoms , ive never had a outbreak but ive had these symptoms for a month now. i dont have the drive to do anything anymore but constantly take cat naps my eyes always feel heavy and it feels like i can literally feel the blood in my body moving and fighting the virus.

Hi, this is awful. I'm so sorry you have to go through this. The symptoms are so extreme. What did your doctor say?

Did they test you for mononucleosis? Maybe you should. If your immune system is fragile, it's possible your fighting different virus.

is it possible to be infected both orally and genitally, since i noticed the urethral symptoms my throat has been red and hard to swallow ive never had chicken pox or been sick in my life always had a strong immune system thats why this is bothering me so much.

I'm not sure what pcp means (english is not my first language). It is possible to be infected both orally and genitally but it's not that common. I still think you have something else and your symptoms matches infectious monocleosus perfectly.

I'm currently reading a few scientific papers and some say that HSV can reactivate mononucleosis (EBV/Epstein Barr Virus). I have a feeling that it's what is happening here. You either just caught it or maybe had in the past. A lot of children catch EBV when they are young and it goes unnoticed. If I'm right, the acute symptoms can last a few weeks but will go away. I had mono in my early twenties and I would sleep 20hrs per day. I had the worst sore throat of my life. Anyway, I'm just trying to help and I'm no expert. I think it's worthed it to discuss it with your doctor though.
