How do we spend our time while we recover?

I know this is more of a "fluff" discussion than anything else. I'm sure though, it's allowed!! I was just curious how people spent their days while recovering? I've been bored, but then found myself watching a lot of movies and TV Series on Netflix. Also, I do my daily emailing. Walk my dog, check mail, drive to PT, run to grocery. This is pretty much how I've spent my time. Add going to the Doctor 3 times or so. I know most of you are in the UK or nearby. I wondered if there were books you especially liked? Movies? TV Series? I thought about one of those "adult" coloring books. I hear they are popular in France, more of these books are sold than regular books. Coloring, I bet is a real good way to meditate and have some quiet time to concentrate, stop your mind from visiting all sorts of other places you don't want it to go. Share anything you found to be extra good, fun or entertaining. I watched every season of Person of Interest, and all seasons of Walking Dead. Now, I'm on Blue Bloods.
btw ~ toss in getting and paying bills!

I love painting my own stuff but recently discovered that I really like the popular colouring books - really calming. I also love word games and play Words with friends on my phone. It is nice to be so indulgent for a while. I am happy entertining myself at the moment and well, the world can wait for me!
Hope you have packed your bag!

So interesting and informative to read what you are doing during the day -
I try to recall and think that this whole period (from January 2015-until today) has been very surreal to me - I know I am here, that I had 2 THR surgeries and I do things -
I live alone, in the middle of the woods and have been hibernating which was perfect - being in nature, the smells, the air was/is very healing for my spirit - body however I think , is not too happy with cold and dampness -
I am doing volunteer work in a senior citizen home and have asked for more days/hours - just one mornig a week was not doing it for me -
still challenging and feeling so sore and stiff afterwards - very different environment and I do enjoy it --
And I feeling restless recently -
Netflix I already had when I was in Los Angeles and kept it - Unfortunately reception is bad and not constant - very frustrating trying to watch anything -
but watche Orange is the new Black, Nashville , House of cards
Living in Holland more Dutch films are offered and to be honest, they are not so good ...
But where does the day go ?????
oh, and the forum of course
big warm hug
