How do you get fibro diagnosed

I have pain everywhere to the point

cannot move mostly back chronic headaches face pain shoulders

    Sorry to hear that Joan. Go to your gp and if they don't help ask for referral to a rheumatologist. Good luck.

    Thankyou for the quick reply he has said he will refer me to a physio but how long that will be who knowes.

    hi Joan

    A physio cannot diagnose Fibromyalgia. If you think you may have Fibromyalgia, I would suggest going back to your GP and asking him/her for a referral to a rheumatologist..

    Do you have other symptoms of any kind? Even if you think they are unrelated it is worth making a list and mentioning these to your GP so he can get a fuller picture.

    Thankyou for all the replies it really is encouraging having just joined.I know physio won't tell me but that's what he offers I think I need to go to somebody else.I have never taken alcohol in my life so that is not a problem.
