How do you know if and when you need to up your dose?

Hi there,

Just wondering how people decide they need to increase their dose and how long to give it on each dosage?

Thanks!

Usually your gp or whoever is perscribing the med will determine when to increase the dosage! I found that if the current dose is not making you feel better that usually is a sign to increase! My doctor increased my dosage from 10 mil of Lexapro to 20 after 2 weeks! Been on this dose for 2 months and some improvement! Seeing a psychiatrist next week hoping to add another med to speed things along!

      Hey

The thing is, it was making me feel better but then I've had the side effects I got at the beginning creeping in for the last 4-5 days. I don't know if it's a blip but it's making me more anxious again :-/ So my dilemma is whether I ride it or try upping the dose...
