Hello Saketha. I have been told when you don't see your period for 1 to 2 yrs . After that we enter menopause.

I've heard the same. Official Menopause (not perimenopause) is when you go without a period for a year straight, according to my OBGYN. So more likely you are in peri.

Hi, that sounds typical of peri from what I've read. Personally I know I'm in peri for other reasons but haven't skipped any periods yet. But I also have a giant fibroid. Of course I'd check with your doctor, but in peri it's normal to have irregular or extra-long periods. But your doctor can check other things like your hormone levels. Also if you're experiencing other symptoms like trouble sleeping or night sweats, hot flashes, weight gain in middle, increased anxiety etc.
