How do you know when you're taking too much?

Hi everyone -

A question like the title suggests - how do you know if your dose is too high?

Long story short I had a brand change that caused withdrawal, reverted to an old brand and basically started from scratch again. Literally just got off a zoom meeting with my pychologist who confirmed that brand changes do this to many patients and it's not as cut and dried as 'it's the same active ingredient' due to bioequivalence etc.

However, I had a flare up of pancreatitis at the weekend and missed a dose, which left me without any citalopram for around 48 hours. I didn't feel a difference,if anything, I felt better? Now, I'm cautious as I was taking morphine for the pain, which is famously a drug that makes you very chilled and gives a false sense of wellbeing, but upon taking the citalopram again I have fatigue and that fuzzy head feeling once more. Frustrating!

Is this a case of letting it settle down again after effectively restarting with a brand change 2/3 weeks ago, or is my dose too high?

Thanks

Amy
