How do you live with Osteoarthritis in multiple areas?

Hello,I am starting to feel my osteoarthritis more and more each day.I have had it for over 20 years. It never really affected my daily

living much, accept an occasional flare up in the knee or lower

spine. Now it seems the flood gates have opened ha ha to shoulder, cervical and lower spine, knees, hands and feet.Alot of

stiffness, aches and pain.Especially to the left knee(lots of crepitus and stiffness) and lower back.I am walking differently now due

to the pain in knee, which is hard on the back.I am open to any

suggestions for how to live like this each day such as assisted

devices to heating pads, things like that.I already am on medication such as voltaren gel, pain meds and light exercise.

How do you battle the low moods in knowing this isn't going to

get better? I am in my early 50's so would like to still be as active

as possible and enjoy life. Thanks to all who listen biggrin

Take  look at the Arthritis Research website. I won't put a link in as it will pobably get eliminated. There is a lot of information and exchange of ideas. If you make a dontaion of any size to this charity you will get on the postal mailing list for their quarterly magazine which contains a lot of the same ideas and information if you would rather have it in paper form!
