Working on the principle of "no news is good news", hopefully no posts means no need to post
I am still on thinners (warfarin) but do seem to be getting more accustomed to it.

Hi Daisy,
Don't worry. Of all of the things that may be said about anticoagulants - the one thing about them for sure is that they do work.
That said, suddenly getting pe's is quite a shock, so don't be afraid to ask for help or advice.
All the best

Hi Sabi,
I too am on it for life and have been on it for a year or so. My experience has been that, over time, the warfarin side effects seem to reduce. Not seen weight gain (although I have always been skinny). There is not a special diet as such, just need to not make dramatic changes. i.e. yu can eat as much greens as you like, as long as you eat them at the same rate. If you suddenly eat less, your inr will rise.
There seem to be a lot of myths and anecdotes about warfarin. I have found many to be false. I was told "no alcohol" but later found that not to be true, just take it in moderation and again, no big variances (just like foods). Main thing that does have an effect on warfarin is other drugs. There are some interactions, so always check with your GP. You can find out about interactions online too.

Hi all, Im still on Warfarin since 2016 May..... Im only 34, so I want to change to another , which is Nattokinase. Have you ever heard about it? I've got a scar tissued clot in my lung, and the Warfarin does not dissolve it. I had lots of search about Nattokinase, Im waiting an answer from a Japanese doctor, who know Nattokinase. This product can dissolve it.
Sorry, my english is not the best.
