How long are you exhausted and weak

I was just diagnosed Tuesday. I was in the er and was told i have a stomach flue. A week later i was at the Dr and given antibiotics. I could not take care of myself for two weeks. I can now cook and go to a store, but i can't do much. i am so tired and spend most of my day on the couch. This has been going on for six weeks. I can't work and i am depressed and scared. This is new to me i would like any advice. thank you!!
