I was hoping now that the drug is in my system the increase might show effects quicker?! Oh well.  I don't drink much anyway, almost finished dry January which tied in with getting accustomed to the drug I guess.  I hope it makes me feel better.

Everyone is different. Two days for me. Then after 3 months it wore off a bit so i went up to 100 and that was the dose that worked for me. Um still on it now but only on 50. It doesnt work as well as 100 but i dont want to totaly rely on the drug

Mine started to kick in after about 4 weeks, I guess. It is different for everyone, but it's best just to keep going. They will make you feel better. I'm at the other end now, I'm just coming off them after about 4 years. Not nice, but after reading posts on here, I realise I should have reduced much more slowly than recommended by my GP. I definitely needed them at the time, so don't fight against it. I stayed on 50mg the whole time and with a blip mid way when the brand was changed (different chemist), they worked for me, keeping me at a level 'happy' place!

I was quite surprised I needed them in the first place, but I obviously did. I felt guilty at first because my problems seemed insignificant to others. All work related sadly, but it put me in a frame of mind that needed sorting.

I hope you start to feel better soon. I'm sure you will!

    Good luck x
