How long did inguinal mesh site remain tender for you?

I got a laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair done 2 weeks ago. I've been up and active for about 10 days now...some days I'll walk 2 or more miles, going a bit stircrazy without being able to lift or do normal chores and tasks.

However, some days, the skin along my beltline where the mesh is just BURNS. It makes walking, bending, sitting, everything uncomfortable. I know I'm still early in the recovery process, but I'm a little freaked out that I'm messing up the mesh.

How long did your mesh give you tugging/burning sensations after your repair? Good news for me is the 3 laparoscopy incisions haven't hurt once.
