It takes 30 to 56 hours to leave your system. I looked it up on the internet

You know your limits, so consider that and half it.

The medication affects will be dependent on how much you take of it and how long you have been onto the drug.

If you are uncertain you need to consider how many units you have of drink. one single Whisky is one unit. If it is a beer or Cyder, allow about 2.4 units per .500 canĀ  You need to be careful if drinking higher strength beers, they can contain 7.4 units a bottle.

I drink and am always watching my units, you need to remember you will know your limits, it can be down to your weight, and height, even down to the temperature outside, if it is hot the drink will disperse. Your mood whether you take medications or not can cause a problem. Depressed, drink can have a real negative affect

    Be very careful

    Just another thought

You could mix say lemonade of something, that will be a longer drink and will therefor last longer. Shandies are sometimes a good idea, although remember a Pint drink may still have 0.5 Litre alcohol, at 2.5 Units

Don't drink tonight. Diazepam has a half life of 40-100 hours and alcohol and diazepam don't mix.

I was taking Xanax to help me sleep, only a small does of .25 mg/night just before bedtime. Xanax is essentially the same things as diazepam. If I had just a beer or two with the Xanax I had horrible nightmares and anxiety. THEY DO NOT MIX WELL.

Don't risk it, it's not a good idea. Even one beer or a glass of wine is not a good idea when you are on a Benzo medication. Stick to club soda tonight.

They take up to 96 hours, play it safe and do not drink or drink very little. ;-)
