I've been off the Gabapentin for more than two weeks & am still having side effects. Not sure if the side effects are from withdrawal or the original dosage. Either way, I am so tired of it. Wish I had known all this before I took it. I rarely read the side effects for fear of planting an idea & developing it or thinking I have. Ugh! I will never take any new med again w/o first reading the side effects! We live & learn!!!

Hi Sandy - just wanted to check in. I am doing better in some ways - my late-night terrible nausea and gut issues are pretty much gone, but I still have some nausea and back pain during the day, and still incredible screaming anxiety when I wake up, and difficulty sleeping - this is after 5 weeks. THink it is still the Gabby? When did you begin to lose some of this? And how are you doing now, and how long has it been for you since you got off entirely?

I got off in February. Was a long road. February I never left the house at all. March & April and May was bearable but still there.

Been feeling pretty good lately, still have some bloating and appetite still not real great, but nausea is gone thankfully.

Hang in there my anxiety went away my and I am sleeping much better now.

Keep me posted on the high dose I was on they say sometimes it can take a year! sad

I have been completely off for 6 months!!

      Everyone is different..
