How long does it normally take for the lump to go away after abscess has burst and antibiotics

I had a huge Barthilon cyst come up overnight ever a week ago, Dr gave antibiotics which I finished the course of today. In the mean time the cyst burst 4 days ago but I still have a large amount of swelling and a hard lump in the area. It's definitely not infected any more but wonder if anyone can advise me about how long it'll be until everything should return to normal?

Many thanks

I had 4 of these and they even caused me nerve damage in the long run ...careful !

I used to take voltarol/diclofenac anal suppositories for the swelling..works like MAGIC!

or you can soak in epsom salp hot baths.....the inflammation should go away in max. 1 week's time

Thanks for your response! I was presribed Napoxen for the pain and as anti-inflamatory but reacted badly to it. Hadn't even thought about another one, but I know I'm normally OK with that! :-) Epsom Salts baths sound lovely.
