How long does nausea last?

2 weeks on Friday I came off fluoxetine and my doctor put me on sertraline, I've seen a massive difference, I never realised how horrible fluoxetine was making me feel! I used to feel so numb and I couldn't think straight! I'm currently on 25mg and I'm seeing my doctor this week and she will probably want me to take the whole tablet but I was wondering if it's normal to feel so nauseous and feel like vomiting!! I only eat whole foods (vegan) so nothing can be upsetting my stomach cause I haven't changed anything, as I write this I feel like I'm gonna throw up! I'm so happy with how these drugs have helped me in such a short time, usually it gets worse before better but from the start I've felt more happier and my anxiety has reduced! I used to stay in bed for being too depressed but now I wanna get out of bed except I feel sick! What do I do?

could the nausea be down to coming off the fluoxetin rather than the sertraline?   Perhaps your doctor could give you something to help with the nausea?  sorry to be so vague but I'm really hoping that you feel better soon, especially as this seems to be working so well for you in relation to your mood . . .

Oooooohh yes it does eventually get better,

i've been taking Sertline for 15 months.........first few weeks I was very tired, and extremly nausea, I even contimplacteded on coming off this drug, but people encouraged me and helped me,

give it few more weeks, and u probably need upping your dose? But that wiill get reviewed by your GP.

just persaver I did just that it Will subside, all the best.
