How long does sperm in semen last in a pack of baby wipes?

Here's how it went down: I'm 21 years old and I masturbated a few days ago (maybe about four or five days ago can't recall) and then ejaculated on the floor. I then pulled out my pack of baby wipes I use for work and proceeded to clean the floor with it. With the same hand I used to wipe the semen off the floor, I pulled one more wipe to thoroughly clean the floor. I discarded both wipes and then washed my hands. I put back the wipes in my bag in my room. At work, I use the baby wipes to wipe messes off tables and clean surrounding areas. Obviously, it decreases the supply of wipes in the pack. Then, three days ago, my female co-worker asked for some wipes from me. Knowing that it would be safe, I gave it to her. She apparently used after she urinated or something.

Now, I am worried that from the day after I ejaculated, are there like small traces of sperm still alive in that pack that may have gotten close to her private parts? I check the wipes and it's not exactly room temperature (it's moist, wet, and not warm). Should I be worried?

For reference, the wipes are Sanicare Cleansing Wipes.

Um... I'm kind of serious in asking this question. Please don't ridicule me for something that bothers me so. 😦

Ignore the other response. Forums like this are supposed to be for encouragement and information sharing.

Sperm can't live very long outside the human body. You've posed no risk to your coworker. It wouldn't have mattered what temp that pack of wipes

      was.

Just to put it in perspective, I'll tell you about my best friend. She was having trouble getting pregnant so the doctor wanted a sperm sample from her husband. He wanted it fresh because sperm die quickly. Her husband couldn't get it up in the doctor's office so they told him he could masturbate at home and bring it in if he could get it there quick enough and keep it warm enough. So my friend raced across town with her husband's fresh sperm in that little cup stuffed between her boobs to try to keep it body temp so the sperm wouldnt die before the doctor could get a sperm count. She actually had to do this twice because she just wasn't fast enough the first time.

Yep, outside the body, sperm is that fragile.

Please believe me when I say your coworker is just fine.

Thank you for this reassurance and for the story. I went paranoid because of the ingredients found in the wipes and its moistness may have kept the sperm alive somehow.

You're welcome. Anxiety over something is the worst kind of stress. So that can be one less thing for you to worry about. 😃

Hi! I need some clarification (male). Does the same thing apply to ordinary wet wipes as well as baby wet wipes when it has been less than or near an hour? I suspect I may have touched inside a pack of wet wipes after masturbating.

Does it pose a pregnancy threat for any female? If so, how much time has to pass for sperms to die on these wet wipes which are always moist but not warm/hot?

Can sperm survive without the liquid of semen outside body on these mentioned wet wipes?

Are liquids in wet wipes toxic to sperm and kill it? ("phenoxyethanol", benzoic acid, dehydroacetic acid, citric acid, C 12-15 Pareth 12)

Can sperm somehow use the liquid of these wet wipes to stay alive AND make its way into uterus after a female uses it after peeing or something similar?

Still the same answer. The only difference is the name, they are the same. Different brands have minor differences in ingredients (which often speed up the sperms dearth).

Also sperm would need to be put into the vagina. Even then pregnancy risk is low, STD risk abit higher.
