    Hi Lori

Not sure it made me more down, but definitely the first few weeks were all over the shop with low mood, anxiety, difficulty sleeping etc. It really did take a while to settle down and see improvement, it's really gradual. I tried to do things to lift my mood until it could all kick in like walking, cycling, meditation etc just to get some respite even if I was having a bad day. Stick with it, it will get better xxx

Ok so low mood sounds like what I’m going through ... so it eventually worked well for you after a few weeks ?

      Hi Lori

It's up and down really, and I'm not as perky as I'd like to be but yes, for me it's less noticeable and more manageable x

    Hi Lori

I wish i had the answers but i do know that they arent for everyone.Ive really tried to make them work for me

for months now, they have tried several concoctions and im never without symptoms or feeling good.

I tried standard hrt patch-climara to see if it would be better and more consistent in dosage as the transdermals are not as accurate, but i felt even worse.

I can not stick with anything for long but in reference to depression, im not really sure if it works, as it has not so far for me. I believe they work for many women though.

For depression im not sure, for the physical symptoms yes..but the depression is a different story i think.

keep in touch, you might want to give it more time..

    xoxo

    Hi Lori

I simply have not felt myself since menopause. Prior to this i never experienced depression so for me its a new thing, (not so new 15 months now)

bhrt hasnt helped symptoms of low mood. I have never snapped out of it other than for hours here and there.

Mornings are particularily dark, and with anxiety, and then evenings would have to be the calmest for me if anytime..

Dont give it up its just my personal journey.

    xoxo

Hi just want to say that I started on HRT sequi patches and so only had combined patches for the last two weeks of the month... within those two weeks every month I started to feel dreadful -tearful, unable to cope and terrible breast pain.

Turns out it was the progesterone that wasn't agreeing with me... I switched to a different type of progesterone and things got better regarding side effects.

My GP said it's quite common for progesterone to cause such symptoms if it's not the correct type for you?

Obviously won't be the same for everyone  but but that was my situ... 😕 Just thought it's worth noting/monitoring - hopefully  it's just settling issues for you and you will feel better very soon. Keep smiling.

    AJ. x

I think so! Ever since I started on HRT I've been so sad and teary. I can't stop because then the terrible sweating starts. I take Primarin and Naturogest
