citalopram has worked well for me on different occasions in the past., both at 20 and 30mg. after 7 weeks at 20 this time it wasnt doing enough so the doc upped it to 30 1 week ago.how long does this take to work? hoping its not 4-6 weeks.

it's not uncommon for it to take longer the second or third time round. I know a few people who took longer the 3rd time and some even the 2nd time.
it's not necessarily gonna take the same length of time as the last time to recover. I recovered in 4-6 weeks the first time and then more than 12 weeks the second time.
it will get better.

hey lois x waves of dread seem to be easing off now. still come in waves. I'm definitely not feeling great since dropping down. I am triggered by an awful lot now so I'm assuming that it's because I'm over sensitive to everything at the minute because of the change. I am taking my son on a boat trip today as I promised him for ages so I'm extremely panicky about that so hoping I don't get overwhelmed. how are you doing? hope you're keeping safe during this pandemic ❤❤
