How long for result of blood test?

3 weeks ago i had a blood test for vasculitis. 10 days later went back for result and it hadn't come back. Had another test and told to call on Monday. It still hadn't come back. In the meantime the rash is getting worse. Does anyone know how long these tests take to get result. Jill

    My primary doctor sent me to a rheumatologist because I had a positive ana, after my doctor checked me out she kept saying she was sure I didn’t have anything that it probably runs in my family and I have the genes which is why my ana is positive. She sent me to get blood work to make sure I don’t have vasculitis since my sister has it and other test, I went on a Friday and by Tuesday they had my blood results!

      Thanks for your reply Nancy. I'm going to phone again today. Its going on forever! I don't know what part of the country you are in but that's pretty good to get it that quick. My GP said it's just a waiting game!! Jill

      Yes Jill is correct. It doesn't take long, only a day or 2.
